Here in the School of Health and Social Care, we offer CPPD pathways and modules to enable you to continue your personal and professional development, building your knowledge, skills, and professional practice.
Our portfolio of courses offers flexible study options; we have pathway Master's programmes that are modular and enable you to build to a postgraduate degree - with step off along the way if needed. Modules can also be taken as standalone.
Our courses are developed in partnership with local providers of health and social care, aligning with the current priorities in the NHS workforce.
All our programmes will enable you to think critically about your professional area, to apply the latest research, explore new areas and advance your practice. We work in partnership with local providers, commissioning groups, and others, to deliver the academic qualifications and training needed in today's complex health and care services.
If there is a module you would like to undertake, or programme you are interested in starting, you can apply with the relevant form, or email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) to confirm the current status of your chosen module. Where modules do not have a current start date, we will be maintaining a waiting list of candidates and will get in contact when a start date has been confirmed.
Looking to undertake professional development whilst working? You might be interested in one of our apprenticeships. We offer a range of levels and career paths - find out more on our apprenticeship pages.

Returning to full-time education doesn't suit everyone, so we've created flexible CPD learning pathways that allow you to stack modules to build your own qualification.
We have both undergraduate and postgraduate pathways available, allowing you to pick modules that match your professional needs. You'll find that how our modules are delivered varies (e.g. on campus, online, etc), and when they are delivered, so you can plan your studying around your existing commitments.
You can take the following pathways:
View our pathways map to find out more about how you can build modules towards an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification.
These modular pathways are not currently eligible for funding from Student Finance. Take a look at other funding options that may be available to you.
If you've taken a look already through our CPD courses but can't find something that 'ticks the box', then something bespoke may be more appropriate.
We have a wide range of clinical and academic health and social care expertise within our School, which means we're well placed to offer specialist workshops and bespoke training in addition to our existing portfolio of modules and pathways.
If you have an idea in mind of what you are looking for, then please get in touch (email@example.com) to discuss it further.
