Careers events
Raise the profile of your organisation and connect with hundreds of talented students by attending one of our Careers Fairs or Part-time Jobs Fairs. Whether you're recruiting for immediate vacancies or building your future talent pipeline, our events offer an excellent opportunity to engage with students face-to-face.
The dates of our next careers events are:
- Part-time Jobs Fair – Wednesday 7 October
- Autumn Careers Fair – Thursday 5 November

Placements
Gain fresh ideas while helping students to develop their professional skills. Placements form part of a student's degree, allowing them to apply their academic learning while contributing to your organisation. Hosting a student is a great way to identify future talent, either through a placement year or short placement. Placements are a fully assessed part of a student’s course with clear learning objectives from their department.

Looking for innovative solutions to business challenges? Collaborate with our students through employer-led projects. From undergraduate projects to business challenges undertaken by Essex MBA students, project briefs offer new perspectives, practical solutions, and valuable insights for your organisation.
Become a Career Mentor
Help shape the next generation of professionals by becoming a Career Mentor. Mentoring is a rewarding way to support student success, enabling you to share your knowledge through one-to one sessions and help develop future talent in your sector.
