The Postgraduate Research Education Team supports the University's postgraduate research education provision, including Doctoral Training Partnerships and postgraduate research student skills development.
The Quality and Academic Development team's remit includes ensuring the academic quality of courses and regulating the appointment of External Examiners, as well as enabling effective opportunities for students to feedback.
The Estates and Campus Services teams deliver a wide range of services for the University, from catering to sports facilities, from accommodation to grounds maintenance, and from estates management to the luxury hotel, Wivenhoe House.
The Financial Accounting and Capital team is responsible for the University Financial Statements, the University Subsidiary Companies and Capital Expenditure. They also look after the University Bank Accounts, Studentships and Investments.
The Service Accounting team is based within Finance, Planning and Data Insight section but also elsewhere across the University. The team works closely with budget holders to deliver high quality financial management through close business partnering relationships.
The Finance, Planning and Data Insight section is responsible for managing the Universities income and expenditure, ensuring we get value for money in all financial activity and that we comply with all statutory and regulatory requests.
