Academic Registrar's Office

The Academic Registrar’s Office:

  • supports the overall smooth operation of the Academic Section, ensuring consistency in approach within and across the Section teams, providing an effective framework to develop, support and maintain a culture of empowerment that is based on local decision-making wherever possible and enables colleagues to lead innovation with confidence
  • provides leadership, management and oversight for institutional compliance in relation to the University’s Tier 4 immigration obligations as well as the oversight, development and implementation of the University’s Safeguarding Policy
  • provides a key link between the work of the Academic Section and the wider University, supporting and facilitating a culture of openness within the Section that looks beyond the confines of the Section, both within the University and outside
