An opportunity for Year 12-13 students, as well as mature students, to spend practical time in a lab to experience Life Sciences at the University of Essex.

During the day, students will delve into Biomedical Science and Molecular Biology, from chemicals to genes, proteins to tissues, and discover how modern techniques can reveal the secrets of living things!
Students will also explore Marine and Environmental Sciences and have the opportunity to learn about Essex’s unique coastal habitats, the ecology of plants, animals and microbes, and tour our research aquaria.
There will also be an opportunity to speak with current students who will answer any questions about studying Life Sciences at University, and tour the University campus.
