Experience Essex Law School

We are sorry to inform you that our Experience Essex Law School Event will no longer be going ahead in 2024 due to unforeseen circumstances. We hope you can instead join us for one of our other events later this academic year, where you will be able to hear from Essex Law School and get a feel for studying with us.

Join us on our Colchester Campus to experience what it would be like to study at Essex Law School. The day will include engaging taster sessions from our expert academics, and a chance to speak to current students.

Our Experience Essex Law School event is open to students in year 12, 13, and mature students, and we welcome bookings from school groups as well as individuals wishing to attend.

 09:45 - 10:10  Welcome and Introduction to Essex Law School 
 10:15 - 11.15 Taster session 1: Explore the Law in Practice
 11:15 - 12:00 Campus Tours with current students
 12:00 - 12:45

Lunch

We recommend students bring a packed lunch as there will be limited time to buy food on campus
 12:50 - 13:40 Taster session 2: Are Human Rights Still Relevant in the Twenty-First Century?
 13:45 - 14:35 Taster session 3: The Role of the Lawyer in the Digital Age
 14:35 - 14:45  Close and departures
