At Essex we know employability is a key factor when students are making decisions about their future and their Higher Education options. We offer a wide range of resources to help them explore their choices and plan their next steps.
The Essex Team welcome invitations to support your school careers fair, we are happy to come to talk to your students about the opportunities offered by university study and how a degree can help them reach their future career goal. Schools and colleges are encouraged to request bespoke careers and employability sessions by emailing schools-link@essex.ac.uk.
Delivered by our enthusiastic academics, our taster sessions are designed to give your students a flavour of studying a subject at undergraduate level and incorporate careers and employability within the field of study. Workshops are available across all three of our faculties and can be delivered as part of a campus visit or virtually via Zoom or Microsoft Teams to your classrooms.
To arrange a bespoke talk with one of our academic departments please get in touch by emailing schools-link@essex.ac.uk
We offer a range of pre-recorded student webinar sessions delivered by our academics, where students can explore how their studies connect to current events. They can also sign up to our live Summer Series once the dates are announced.
Students can sign up to our free online courses, such as the Python Programme or University Preparation Programme, to build new skills and explore future opportunities. These courses are flexible, engaging, and perfect to take part in during Careers Week.
