1 -6 March 2021
Schools and colleges are invited to join us for an exciting programme of virtual workshops and sessions to support students in exploring Higher Education, employability and career opportunities, during the 2021 National Careers Week.
At Essex we know that employability is an important factor for students in deciding their future, and their Higher Education choices. Our National Careers Week aims to give students more information about the courses, support and resource available at university, and how this could benefit their future.
The event will run across the week with virtual sessions running during the day and in the evening. There will be opportunity to join live sessions, as well sessions on demand to access at your convenience within timetable commitments.
There will be sessions spanning across all our academic departments, where students will be able to find out more about the department, the courses they offer and the employability options available to them. There will also be the opportunity to hear from some of our Essex Alumni, to hear about their time at Essex, and their career progression.
In addition to our academic sessions, you will also be able to join sessions to hear about different course variant options such as those including placement, or study abroad, years and how these can contribute towards your employability. These will sit alongside sessions to introduce you to the support and resources available to help enhance your employability whilst you are a student, as well as once you have graduated.
All sessions are open to students attending as individuals or to school groups, and multiple days may be booked.
If you are a school, and looking for a live session for your students within this week, please do get in contact with us at email@example.com.
A programme will be available nearer to the event, but in the meantime please do register your interest below and contact us if you have any questions.
