Women in STEM Scholarship

The Women in STEM scholarship programme, funded by the British Council, provides funding for women from eligible countries to complete a one-year master's degree in the UK in the following courses:

Department of Government

• MSc Environmental Futures and Climate Change 

School of Health and Social Care

• MSc Global Public Health
• MSc Leadership in Health and Care

School of Life Sciences

• MSc Biotechnology 

School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering

• MSc  Applications of Artificial Intelligence
• MSc Intelligent Systems and Robotics 

School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science

• MSc in Data Science and its Applications 

How to apply

Please complete the application form (.pdf) and submit to bcwomeninstem@essex.ac.uk  by 30 April 2026. Successful applicants will be notified on or before 12 June 2026.
