If you're an international student studying at one of our Global Partner Institutions listed below and are self-funding your undergraduate studies, you could be eligible for a a 10% or 20% tuition fee discount, or a scholarship worth up to £3,000, which you'll receive as a tuition fee discount distributed across your years of study.

Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE)**** £1,000 per year (for maximum of three years) for those entering the first year of study.
£1,000 per year (for maximum of two years) for those entering the second year of study.
£1,500 for one year for those entering the third year of study.
****£1,000 for entry into year 3 only; only eligible for award if achieved with A in one graded component.
* Students are only eligible for award if they achieve 85% or above in link agreement programme/s.
** students on the Essex-NWU double degree programmes are not eligible.
*** Students are only eligible for award if they achieve GPA 75% or above in link agreement programmes.

How to apply

If you meet all the eligibility criteria, you will automatically be considered for this award. You don’t need to complete an application form. The University will assess your eligibility based on your country of domicile and fee status that you submit on your application for your place at Essex.
