Want to understand more about life with Parkinson's?

Our Parkinson’s group is a programme aimed at people with Parkinson’s who are looking for education and support to live well.

The programme is delivered by the Health, Wellbeing and Care Hub clinical team with support from student healthcare staff. The programme runs over 6 weeks and offers a two-hour group session each week at the Hub. Sessions include education, the opportunity to exercise and a refreshment break.

During the programme you will be able to seek support and guidance from a number of health professions, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and nursing.

A friend or relative is very welcome to come with you.

To access this service, please complete an adult services referral form (.docx) and email it healthwellbeingcare@essex.ac.uk and a member of the team will be in touch to discuss your referral.
