Argentina, Belize, Boliva, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Venezuela and Uruguay.
All departments (excluding East 15)

This scholarship scheme is for international students from the specified countries, listed above, seeking to join our University. The award is offered as a discount (£5,000) and will be deducted from your tuition fees in the first year (Year 1) of your undergraduate degree at Essex in 2024-25.

How to apply

If you meet all the eligibility criteria, you will automatically be considered for this award. You don’t need to complete an application form. The University will assess your eligibility based on your country of domicile and fee status that you submit on your application for your place at Essex.
