Care Connect is a supportive monthly group for carers of individuals living with the effects of brain injury.

Meeting on the third Tuesday of each month, the group offers a safe and welcoming space to share experiences, gain mutual support, and learn practical strategies for coping with the challenges of caregiving.

Sessions include opportunities for open discussion, guided activities, and input from qualified clinical psychologists. Care Connect also fosters social connection and reducing isolation. The group recognises the vital role carers play in recovery and wellbeing and is committed to valuing and empowering them.

The sessions start on Monday 15 December and run on the third Tuesday of each month, from 6pm to 7:30pm.

To join the group, please complete an adult referral form (.docx) and send it to healthwellbeingcare@essex.ac.uk.
