Following the UK Government’s recent decision to increase fees for the academic year 2025-26, for students commencing an accelerated degree course with Edge Hotel School in the academic year 2025-2026, the tuition fee for new UK and Channel Islands students will be £11,440.
Students on a two-year accelerated course achieve the same academic qualification as a more traditional three-year degree, and could save over £5,500 in tuition fees over the duration of their course. Student Finance England (SFE), Student Finance Northern Island (SFNI) and Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) offer a tuition fee loan for eligible applicants.
Student Finance Wales (SFW) and Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI) do have restrictions on their funding.
If you are starting your course in the academic year 2025-2026 and you are opting to include a study abroad year into your program, you will pay 15% of the standard tuition fee for that year. The standard fee is based on the new fee rate following the UK Government’s decision to increase fees for the academic year 2025-26.

For students commencing their studies at the University of Essex in the 2025-2026 academic year, fees will increase for each academic year of study. For full-time undergraduate students with a Home UK and Channel Islands fee status any fee increases during your programme of study will be limited to the annual increase in the RPI-X index. Increases in fees for full-time undergraduate students with a Home fee status remain subject to UK Government approval.
