We offer a number of financial packages to support students, including those from lower income households. Additional support for UK students includes bursaries for care leavers, students with refugee status, and students from lower income households studying on a year abroad, industrial or voluntary placement. Use our Scholarship Finder to search for funding opportunities.
We also have country-specific funding opportunities.
We want to give every Essex student the chance to help others and make a change. Our Essex Change Makers initiative helps remove a financial barrier to unpaid social action work, by offering a bursary opportunity for students from families with a household income below £25,000 a year to get involved in social action projects.
The Change Makers bursary is designed to enable you to commit time to a project that you feel passionate about, while also enabling you to build the skills, confidence and experience employers are looking for.
