  2. You do not need to pay tuition fees upfront if you are from the UK or EU.
  3. You only start repaying your loan once you earn over £25,000 per year.
  4. You repay 9% of earnings over £25,000 (if you earn £26,000, you pay 9% of £1,000.
  5. Our scholarships and bursaries ensure you have the financial support to help you succeed.
  6. Earn some extra cash throughout your studies with part-time work, Essex offers opportunities on campus too.
  7. If you're an EU student joining us for a course starting on or after 1 August 2021, you will be considered an international student for fees purposes, and will not be eligible for UK student loans.
