Academic argument skills

The aim of this topic is to introduce you to the key skills required to develop a grounded academic argument.

A good argument must have valid weight and be robust enough to withstand critique and criticism. The key to ensuring such validity is the adequacy of the sources used to support your argument, beyond 'they say' and 'in my opinion...'
