Scholarships

Eligible courses are any MSc course within the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering. However, preference will be given to students studying courses which include an element of study of artificial intelligence. 

We have been extremely fortunate to offer this scholarship award due to a kind donation from a private donor who wishes to support students through their studies within the School of Computer Studies and Electronic Engineering. 

The successful awardees would have the opportunity to actively engage in the activities of the Institute for analytics and Data Science.  

How to apply

You can apply for the award by completing the application form (.docx) and submitting it to: School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering – csee-schooloffice@essex.ac.uk before 11:59 BST on 10 May 2026.

This is a competitive scholarship. Applications will be considered, and awards will be made by a selection panel of relevant departmental staff. Although any MSc course in CSEE is eligible, preference would be given to courses which include an element of study of Artificial Intelligence.
