Airport transfer service to Colchester and Southend campuses

We will be providing a coach transfer service from Gatwick and Heathrow airports to Colchester and Southend campuses every day from the 13 September to 3 October.

Coaches will depart at 10am, 3pm and 7pm.

You must book your transfers no later than 3 days before your arrival via the links below. You must also select an Amber or Green coach depending on where you have travelled from or travelled through, it is very important you pick the correct coach to ensure the safety of everyone. If you have completed your isolation in a UK Government approved hotel you may book onto a Green coach.

Transfer prices are £55 and are payable at the time of booking. Please have the following details ready:

  • Your flight number
  • Name of your accommodation
  • Contact details (home and a mobile number while in the UK)

National Express transfers

For those flying into Stansted Airport we suggest you either use a taxi or book onto the National Express coach service which takes you into central Colchester. The journey time is 1 hour.

From the drop off on Colchester High Street take a First Bus, number 62, 74B or 62B to the University. You may need to walk to Stanwell Street. Plan your journey.

Alternatively take a taxi from the taxi rank in the middle of Colchester High Street to campus (3.5 miles, 10 minutes).
