Student Ambassadors are current students who help to promote the University and higher education. As a Student Ambassador, you can get involved in a whole range of opportunities, in particular helping our Student Recruitment and Outreach teams.
We are currently not recruiting for new ambassadors or senior ambassadors at the moment. We will re-assess the situation next year (2021), based on government guidelines. Please continue to check this webpage for further updates to the situation.
View, apply and track work opportunities that are on offer using the Student Ambassador Portal (SAP).
The Student Ambassador Handbook (.pdf) contains key contacts and information to support you in your role and accompany the training delivered.
You'll need to complete the SAT: Student Ambassador Training on Moodle. If you need the key to access the training, email ambmail@essex.ac.uk
Access to the following materials is restricted to Essex users only:
Further to the safeguarding information provided in your annual Student Ambassador training, it’s important that you familiarise yourself with our Code of Conduct for Student Ambassadors and the safeguarding guidelines for working with people under 18 and vulnerable groups.
