We have a wide range of support services to help you with everyday worries in your accommodation or for practical or personal issues.
When you live on campus, you will share with students from a wide variety of countries and cultures. This can be a very exciting and enriching experience, but living in a large community may also bring its challenges.
Nightline is a confidential service run by students for the welfare of students. There are trained volunteers to listen to your problems, available every night during term time. They offer an anonymous, confidential listening service and practical support including camp bed hire, tea and toast, crash accommodation, a detox room, condoms, pregnancy tests, panic alarms and first aid.
Support is available to you within your Student Services Hub, providing advice and support on a range of issues such as financial worries, immigration issues and support for students with additional needs or specific health concerns or simply to help adjusting to University life.
We encourage all new (and existing) students to take a good look around (and bookmark) our 'student webpage', so you are aware of some very useful and important information on student communities, access and disability, health and welbeing, and much more!
