Technology-Enhanced Learning, or TEL for short, involves using technology—in both digital and analogue form—to improve the student learning experience. We achieve this by supporting academic staff to make better use of educational technology in their classes, seminars, and lectures.
We support all at the University. This includes Moodle, Zoom and Poll Everywhere, as well as standard teaching tools like Microsoft PowerPoint. We also provide advice and guidance on using third-party tools and services like Adobe Spark, Microsoft Sway, Google Slides, Kahoot! and Padlet.
The Technology-Enhanced Learning Team can also help with accessibility, copyright and inclusive teaching and learning practices. We also provide an instructional design service to help with the design, development, and production of multimedia learning resources.
