National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS)

The National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) celebrates and recognises individuals who have made an outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession in higher education.

Who can apply

The scheme opened to members of staff from all providers of higher education across the four nations of the UK. Institutions can nominate up to three individuals per annum. We strongly encourage all colleagues who participated in the Excellence in Education Award to consider applying for this highly prestigious award.

Application dates

  • Launch: October 2022
  • Institutional cut-off: Wednesday 8 February 2023 at 12pm (GMT)
  • AdvanceHE close date: Wednesday 8 March 2023 at 12pm (GMT)

Training

A workshop will be facilitated by a member of the Academic and Professional Practice in Organisational Development who is trained to provide advice and guidance. The session will introduce and support applicants with writing their application, understanding the award criteria and the application process.
