"I've been vegan for two and a half years."

The summer before last I went travelling for two months around Indonesia and Vietnam. It was an amazing experience; I wish I could have spent more time there. I’d love it if I didn’t have to have the typical full-time job, and I could spend my time travelling. I don’t know if I’m fantasising, but that’s the dream!

I don’t like causing harm to anyone or anything; that’s how I try to live my life. I’ve been vegan for two and a half years, and I’m part of the Animal Protection Society. They offer volunteering sessions at the Colchester Cat Rescue, which is really fun – you get to play with and care for the cats.

Studying psychology was really what brought me to Essex, because it seemed like such a good course for me, although I don’t know what I’d like to do with my career yet; I’m just really interested in psychology! I’m thinking about doing clinical psychology, but I still have a few years of my course ahead of me, so that could change.
