Visiting research student fees

We welcome students for a period of visiting research study at Essex. You should be qualified to research degree level and contact the department you are interested in studying in to discuss their research profile and potential for supervision.

Tuition fees for visiting research students are listed below for the academic years as shown. They include a basic level of supervision plus access to IT and library facilities.

If you are studying for one or two terms then you will register for the terms plus the vacation following the final term.

Full module attendance would still require separate registration and payment in order to be registered for classes, examinations and to receive credit at the conclusion of the module.
