I thought that Essex would be the most suitable choice for me. I also liked the fact that Essex has a lot of international students. Settling into university life was very easy and a lot of fun. I enjoyed it a lot as the social side of this university is great and you meet new people every day. It was easy to settle into university life academically as well, as the people who work at university are usually helpful and explain and answer students` questions.During my Freshers’ year I lived on campus in one of the North Towers. Living in a tower was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to first year students. It is a fun experience because there are so many young people living together and it is very social, and never boring. If other Latvian students are thinking of applying, they should look forward to studying here and they should enjoy the time at Essex as much as they can. It is a very different experience in a positive way. I doubt that anyone who is social enough would regret coming to Essex because it is a lot of fun socially and academically as well.
