TASS helps athletes – aged 16-plus – to balance sport within the rest of their lives, be they in education, training or another form of personal development.

The TASS Dual Career Accreditation Scheme recognises an education institution’s commitment to dual career support for talented athletes who are in full time education. Playing for Essex feels like a dream come true. Volleyball is my whole life and to play for such an amazing team is a blessing. The resources such as gym sessions, physical therapy, and multiple training sessions have helped me reach levels in my athletic ability I never thought I could reach. Coach Porter has given me so many great lessons to overcome mental and physical obstacles. I wouldn’t be where I am if he had not given me the chance to prove myself and prove my love for the sport. The girls aren’t just my teammates, they are my second family, and I am so excited to see how we grow in the years to come. The program has given me so much and I am proud to represent Essex Uni on the court
