Research Project

Litigating the Obligation to Prosecute or Punish Conflict-related Crimes before an African Regional Mechanism

About us

This project is in partnership with the Centre for Justice and Accountability.

Center for Justice and Accountability (CJA) is currently developing legal strategies to address ongoing impunity for conflict-related crimes in a country in West Africa. The Clinic team will research and present a report on allegations of human rights violations made against leaders of five warring factions to the conflict. This will support the litigation strategy of the CJA, with a particular focus on an African regional mechanism.
