Why choose a January start over October?

When you choose to start your masters degree is entirely up to you and what suits your personal needs best. Whether you begin in October or January you will qualify with the same degree at the end of your period of study. We have introduced January start dates to help those who have been affected by the current situation and those who wish to start their studies later to accommodate personal circumstances such as travelling from another country.

Will I still graduate with a full masters qualification?

Yes, both October and January start dates will enable you to graduate with the same qualification.

Do the January start courses end at the same time as the October start versions?

No, if you begin your course in October, your studies will finish the following September. If you start in January, your studies will end in December. For example, if you start in January 2021, you will complete your course in December 2021.
