The bursary is awarded to holders of University of Essex validated Bachelor’s degrees awarded in the summer of 2015 or later, who are registering full-time or part-time for an eligible postgraduate taught course at Essex in October 2021, and who are self-funding all of their tuition fee.
Eligible courses are those which are full-time or part-time, leading to the degree of MA, MSc, MBA, LLM, MFA, MAPH, or MRes.
Graduate and Postgraduate Diplomas and Certificates, further exchange study, Executive (modular) MBA study, modern language modules, credit accumulation study, and professional development modules are excluded from this bursary.
The bursary will be applied at the point of confirmation by the Graduate Admissions Office and will be provided as a £1,000 cash payment. If a student is studying part-time, this bursary will be divided between the two years of study.
This bursary can be used in conjunction with either the existing alumni loyalty discount fee discount or one other Essex discount or scholarship, whichever is the greater.
