Biography
Before coming to Essex, Adam worked for over twenty years as a teacher and manager in schools in the UK and in British Council teaching centres in North Africa, Saudi Arabia, Poland and Sri Lanka. He currently teaches a range of modules in Academic Skills and EAP (English for Academic Purposes) and leads on support modules for several departments, including Health and Social Care, Psychology, Law and Essex Business School. Adam is particularly interested in materials design and in devising lessons which stimulate and challenge students, and which give significant opportunities for interaction and practice.
