Profile
Biography
Dr Liang Hu is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, as part of Essex Robotics Group, University of Essex, UK. He received a PhD degree in Computer Science from Brunel University London in 2016. From 2016 to 2018, he worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at Queen's University Belfast and subsequently at Loughborough University, in the UK. Before joining the University of Essex, he was a Lecturer with the School of Computer Science and Informatics, De Montfort University, UK. His research interests include safe autonomy, Bayesian filtering and learning, control theory and applications, and cyber-physical systems. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and has served as an associate editor for a number of journals such as the International Journal of Systems Science, IEEE Access, and IET Cyber-systems and Robotics.
