Essex graduate Narmin Akhundova was named winner in the Study UK Alumni Awards for Professional Achievement for her scientific research at the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA).
Narmin graduated from Essex in 2015 with a Masters in Molecular Medicine. Narmin’s research into energy drink compounds and their effect on the human body led to new legislation in Azerbaijan.
