Graduation - Summer 2026

We will not be holding a Graduation in the spring this year. Our next Graduation will take place from 13 to 17 July 2026, and planning for this special event is now underway!

You can download the schedule of ceremonies below. At this stage the schedule confirms the dates for this year’s ceremonies. An updated schedule, confirming the time for each ceremony, will be published in May.

All students who have had, or are due to have, an award conferred between 18 July 2025 and 2 July 2026, will be invited and will be contacted via email, during the spring term with information about Graduation and how to book their place.

Students should make sure that their personal email address is included on their record so that they do not miss any important information – records can be updated through the My Essex portal Students who no longer have access to the portal can contact the Graduation and Awards Team for assistance. 

We expect to open phase one of bookings week commencing 23 March 2026, at which time eligible students will be able to book a place at their ceremony and purchase up to two guest tickets. The booking system will close on Friday 1 May 2026. Phase two of bookings will open, later in May, at which time we will publish an updated schedule of ceremonies and release any remaining guest tickets (subject to availability).
