Graduation receptions

All graduands are invited to attend a Graduation reception after their ceremony. These receptions provide an opportunity to celebrate your award with staff from your Department or School, as well as fellow students.

All graduation ceremonies and receptions are held on our Colchester Campus.

Summer Graduation

Monday 17 – Friday 21 July 2023

Graduation receptions for Summer Graduation will be held in Marquees. Only graduands and guests with tickets will be permitted to enter the graduation reception. Entry to the reception is included in the price of a guest ticket.

Prizes are often presented at the receptions and some departments organise photos.

Light refreshments will be available inside the reception.

Celebratory activities on campus

A wide range of activities, entertainment and facilities will be available during Graduation across our campus.
