ANIMAL MOVEMENT AT ESSEX

About us

We are an informal, multidisciplinary group of scientists from Life Sciences, Maths, Computing Science and Electrical Engineering, Psychology, Sports Science, as well as scientists from Centre for the Environment Fisheries and Aquaculture Science. Interests include the mechanisms underpinning collective behaviour, the drivers of migration, the consequences of population connectivity, all the way through to human movements in sport science and crowd dynamics. We came together to learn, inspire and find commonalities across this diverse field of research.
