By choosing to join our degrees in Year 3 (the level 6 equivalent), applicants with previous industry experience, or those who have completed relevant qualifications up to Level 5, have the opportunity to refine their knowledge and experience - and be awarded a full Bachelor of Arts degree.
You'll study alongside students completing the final level of their degree, working to the same rigorous academic standard. This combination of academic learning and experience working on an extended project with one of our industry partners will enable those who join us via Final Year Entry to update their vocational skills, competences and knowledge of the industry.
The Final Year entry points for BA Events Management and BA Hospitality Management offer a progression route for applicants who wish to complete their BA degree after completing an appropriate Level 5 qualification (such as HND, Advanced Diploma or Foundation degree). You will study alongside the main cohort of students also entering their final year of their degree.
This year will involve an industry project, were you will be assigned a project by one of our external hotel or events partners, and will work collaboratively as a group to present a brief to the client and then execute the project towards the end of the year. You will also write and submit a dissertation related to the degree path you are on.
This option will enable candidates to update their vocational skills, competences and knowledge of the industry. They will have the opportunity to develop and unlock their professional capabilities. The course has a high profile with members of the industry and is heavily industry engage.
