Corporate Sponsors

Current patron: Birkett Long

The Choir’s funds come from members’ subscriptions, with tax recovery schemes, a grant from the University in recognition of the amenity that we provide for students, the sale of tickets and programmes and the sale of advertising space in programmes.

The cost of putting on concerts with a professional orchestra and soloists is high and the choir has been very fortunate to receive outstandingly generous sponsorship from major contributors in the past, including Anglian Water and John Jarrold Trust.

We would welcome further support to help us continue to deliver high quality performances.

The amounts donated by sponsors varies.

Friends

Friends are an important part of the University Choir and we greatly value their interest and support. Friends can be members of the local community, members of the choir or members of our audience. We suggest a minimum donation of £50 payable annually, but you can donate more!  We keep our friends informed of all forthcoming events and acknowledge their support in our programmes.

If you would like to become a sponsor or a friend, please email us at choir@essex.ac.uk

Advertise in our programmes

Another way to support us it to take out an advertisement in one of our concert programmes. Our concerts attract audiences of up to 800 and have a wide reach throughout North Essex and Suffolk. Email us for more information - choir@essex.ac.uk
