Free NHS Health Checks

Improving individual health awareness

Employers, we can arrange to visit your workplace to offer free health checks to your workforce. Email healthwellbeingcare@essex.ac.uk to find out our availability and book in our visit date.

Community partners, if you are running an event and would like to arrange our team to be part of your event and offer free health checks, please get in touch via email (healthwellbeingcare@essex.ac.uk).

NHS Health Check Criteria

• Aged between 40-74 years?
• Registered with an Essex GP or live in Essex?
• Not taking Blood Pressure or Cholesterol tablets (Statins)?
• Not known to have Diabetes?
• Never suffered a Stroke?
• Never suffered a Heart Attack? (M.I)
• Not diagnosed with Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) or Heart Failure?
• Not diagnosed with Peripheral Arterial Disease? (PAD)
• Not diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease? (CKD)
• Not diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation? (AF)
• Not had an NHS Health Check in the last 5 years?
