Dr Ryan Bakker

Dr. Ryan Bakker researches Western European politics, and EU elections and political parties, He is also a prinicipal investigator for the Chapel Hill Expert Survey (CHES), which measures political party positions on a variety of policy-specific issues in the European Union.

Professor Royce Carroll's research focuses on representation, elite and mass behaviour, and democratic institutions in Europe and other regions, particularly in the areas of political parties and ideology.

Professor Lawrence Ezrow's research interests include; elections, political representation, parties’ election strategies, and European Politics.

Fabian’s research deals with social pathology, with a particular focus on mental distress and its social conditions, reason and language in the early Frankfurt School, and ethics after Auschwitz.

Esin's main research interests lie in the areas of EU constitutional law and asylum law. She has written about EU solidarity, examining the theoretical foundations and normative parameters of European solidarity in general and asylum solidarity more specifically.
