Francisco is a Professor of Neural Engineering and Intelligent Systems in the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, where he is also the Deputy Director of Teaching (Year 1), the Disability Officer, and the Inclusivity Lead. He also currently co-chairs the University's Access Forum with Adam Woodhouse. He has multiple disabilities and has been a disability advocate for 20 years.
