Copilot Chat is an AI-powered chat experience, grounded in web data and powered by the latest large language models (LLMs). It allows you to use and create custom agents, generate content with Copilot Pages, upload files, and create images.

Copilot Chat is free to use and available to all staff with an Essex account.

Please note that this version of Copilot Chat does not integrate with your Office 365 email, apps, or organisational data.

Get started

You can use Copilot in Microsoft Edge by clicking the Copilot logo at the top right and signing in with your Essex account.

Or, you can sign in at copilot.cloud.microsoft.com using any browser.

Make sure you see the green shield with tick icon at the top of the page. epd logo It means Enterprise Data Protection (EDP) is on. If you don’t see it, don’t continue. Learn more about EDP.
