Contractor health and safety

The Estate Management Health and Safety team provides guidance, coaching, advice and instruction to enable all staff within Estate Management to carry out their own health and Safety responsibilities, especially those with contractor management responsibility.

We are committed to ensuring that works undertaken, commissioned or managed by Estate Management for our customers are carried out in a safe and healthy environment for all staff, students, members of public and contractors.


We use an electronic system called SOTER to manage approved contractors and monitor key organisational information such as insurance and accreditations expiry dates and ensure all have benefited from the Estates induction. It also enables operatives to log on and off site.
