The Essex Accounting and Global Development School proposes a cutting-edge, 3-week online programme designed to address the unique accounting and development challenges and opportunities faced by non-Western economies. The programme is tailored to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate and influence key industries, public sector roles, and non-governmental organisations effectively.

All participants who successfully complete the Essex Accounting and Global Development School will receive a University of Essex, Centre for Accountability and Global Development certificate for the full course or a modular certificate of completion if undertaking individual modules.

Interactive tools such as discussion forums, polls, and breakout rooms for group activities will all be used. Miss a session? No problem! Governance and Accountability in Global Development

Sustainability Accounting

Extractive Industries Accounting

The role of accounting in preventing resource mismanagement and corruption.

Microfinance and Development
