The National Student Survey shows the University of Essex ranks in the top 40 for overall student satisfaction*, with five subjects in the top 10 nationally.

Through the survey, students are encouraged to reflect on their student experience. The University saw improvements in all of the seven key areas of the survey: teaching, learning opportunities, assessment and feedback, academic support, organisation and management, learning resources, learning community and student voice.

Our students ranked us 31st nationally for the quality of our learning resources and 34th for organisation and management.
