Join us on 20th November for the third seminar in the Centre for Coastal Communities seminar series.
The purpose of this seminar series is to bring together researchers either looking at coastal community topics or conducting research in a coastal community. The seminar series will be hybrid, with an opportunity to join in-person or online.
Firstly, Professor Ewen Speed from the School of Health and Social Care will be speaking on 'Researching with marginalised communities from an inclusive involvement perspective'.
Following on, Professor Gina Reinhardt will present the new ARISE initiative project. ARISE is a ground-breaking research project, funded by UKRI, which seeks to develop resilience within the UK’s coastal seas and communities. Further details about the ARISE initiative can be found here: The ARISE Initiative - Eastern Arc
Following the presentations and time for questions and discussion, there will be refreshments available, with further time for informal discussions, networking and a celebration of the ARISE grant.
Refreshments will be provided.
Please register on Eventbrite if you would like to attend.
This is a hybrid event - when you register, please select whether you will be attending in-person or online via Zoom.
