Residence Life Online Drop-In Hour

Our Residents' Assistants (RAs) will be online from 7pm - 8pm during term time to answer your questions!

All Essex students are welcome to use the drop-in hour

RAs are returning students so if you have a query or are struggling with University life, speaking to an RA is a good place to start. RAs can offer you advice and guidance on:

• Wellbeing concerns
• Flat disputes and flat agreements
• Loneliness and making friends
• Communal living issues such as shared space or food theft
• Exam stress or worry

The RAs are also trained to signpost you to other services at the University to ensure you get the best advice and support.

If you'd like a friendly listening ear, then join us on Zoom using Meeting ID: 920 1237 9049 any time between 7-8pm (UK Time). You will be admitted to a waiting room and one of the RA team will speak to you when available.

Need immediate support?

Whilst on campus, if you find yourself, a friend or flatmate in an urgent or emergency situation, please contact Security, as they are first aid trained and available 24/7 to offer support.
