Learn to navigate the recruitment process to help you get the career you deserve.

The session will cover:

  • identifying and overcoming psychological barriers
  • highlighting perceived external barriers and how to navigate them
  • the legal context - disabled candidates' rights and how to exercise them
  • the graduate recruitment process and sorts of adjustments available
  • when, why and how to talk about disability during the recruitment process
  • being open minded and realistic in your search, including what opportunities are available and where to find them
  • finding disability friendly employers

This session is aimed at students with neurodiversities, mental health conditions and other disabilities. It will be a safe space to ask questions (anonymously if you prefer).

A copy of the slide deck and a link to the session recording will be sent to all attendees after the event.
