Stories are everywhere, they’re in teaching, pitches, marketing campaigns and presentations.
Stories enable us to empathise and identify with a person, situation and/or product, forging a connection and making them memorable. So, what about perfecting your own stories for interview? Defining the situations you’ve been in that showcase the skills you’ve developed and can offer to an employer?
Join Jess Flack, Commissioner for Skills Development at Essex County Council, in this session on storytelling at interview. Jess has worked as both a graduate recruiter and a lecturer in employability, skills and professional developments and advocates the use of storytelling in personal pitch and interviews to really stand out for the crown and get yourself noticed - in a good way!
This session is open to all students, from all disciplines and all levels of study.
