Established for over 40 years, the choir has earned an enviable reputation for the quality of its performances of the great choral works as well as lesser known pieces. The choir performs with professional soloists and orchestras in a variety of venues that include the University of Essex campus, Chelmsford Cathedral, Charter Hall Colchester and in the world-famous concert hall Snape Maltings.

Everyone is very welcome and you don’t need to be a member of staff or student at the University to join us. We rehearse on a Thursday evening every week from October to May.
