As an international community with members from all parts of the globe, it is important that we support each other and stand together in times of grief and sorrow. That support will be particularly needed today as we learn of the devastating impact of conflict in Israel and Palestine.

The loss of life is always a tragedy and one that will be felt not only within our community but also by our friends and family members. As well as drawing strength and solace from friends, colleagues and loved ones, do please also reach out to our specialist teams who are here to offer advice and support that might be especially needed at this time.  Our Occupational Health team are available to any colleagues that need support and you can also receive counselling via the Employee Assistance Programme. Our Dedicated Mental Health First Aiders also offer a confidential listening ear.

Words can do little to soften the emotional pain of war and conflict, but our campuses are places of community, of love, understanding and compassion. When the world seems to be at odds, let our campuses be places where we can find peace and safety, together.
