Reunions for Essex alumni

Colchester Campus might have changed a lot since you were last here, so don't forget to take a look at our campus map to help plan your visit.

There's plenty to see and do once you're on campus. Here are some of our suggestions:

• Collect your alumni goody bag and campus maps by letting us know in advance you'll be on campus.
• Download and enjoy our special self-guided campus tour for alumni with plenty of fun facts about all the new buildings since your time here.
• Explore the beautiful and historic parkland and enjoy a tree walk.
• Hire out and enjoy a barbeque by the lake.
• Wander through the squares and buildings to see how many 50th Anniversary plaques you can find - they’re located all over campus.
• Take a selfie with our campus cat statue, you can find him at the top of the steps on Square 5.
• Grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink at one of the many cafés, bars and restaurants around campus.
• Book tickets to see a play, enjoy some comedy or listen to some live music at Lakeside Theatre.
• Visit one of our campus galleries – there's the Art Exchange in Sq 5 or the ESCALA gallery space in our Silberrad Student Centre.
• Head to the Albert Sloman Library – the famous paternoster lifts are still in use.
