Moodle Course: Research Involving Human Participants
The Moodle course Research Involving Human Participants provides an overview of the responsibilities researchers have when conducting research involving human participants. It also outlines the ethical considerations of such research. Completion of this course is recommended before commencing an application for ethical approval for the first time.

Ethics reviewers
Induction training
When a new Ethics Officer joins University of Essex Ethics Committee, they are provided an induction which is refreshed annually. The induction is mandatory, it can be arranged as required online and typically takes 1 hour. To arrange this, email the REO Research Governance Team.
